Karisma Event Nusantara 2023
All praise and thanks be to God Almighty for His abundance of mercy and grace; the “Karisma Event Nusantara 2023” catalog could be successfully completed. As a strategic program to support and develop events throughout Indonesia, Karisma Event Nusantara “KEN” has the vision to establish ‘event’ as a leading tourist attraction in Indonesia. One of the strategies undertaken to realize this vision is through collaboration between the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and the regional governments in organizing high-quality events. Organizing this quality event is hoped to promote tourist destinations, increase tourist visits, empower local potentials, and positively impact the economy, socio-culture, and the environment with inclusive and sustainable development principles. The “Karisma Event Nusantara 2023” catalog contains information about 110 curated tourism and creative economy events from 38 provinces in Indonesia. The assessment process was carried out based on five (5) areas, namely: tourism and creative economy, innovation and creativity, event management, communication strategy, as well as business development and marketing. Through this catalog, Indonesia’s tourism and creative economy events can be promoted more broadly to all Indonesian tourism and creative economy stakeholders. Finally, we would like to thank all parties involved in organizing the “Karisma Event Nusantara 2023” catalog. Hopefully, this catalog can become the source of information and promotion of Indonesia’s cultural wealth and events to achieve advanced, competitive, sustainable Indonesian tourism that promotes local wisdom.
